Vacation workout


Hey friends!

Just a quick blog post today as we are on vacation at the beautiful Westin Hilton Head Resort. What an amazing place! It is so nice and so relaxing.

So you are on vacation. your goal is to relax. Your goal is to enjoy yourself. Your goal is to recharge and rejuvenate. You goal is to become better and become more.

Isn't that why you workout as well? 

Seriously. Is relaxing and enjoying yourself really sleeping, eating and drinking till you feel terrible? 

Well it shouldn't be.

When you vacation you should also workout.

This morning we slept till about 9am. (Hey! I am on vacation!) We had breakfast and we hit the gym.

So what do you do at a resort gym with very little equipment and no classes that don't cost an arm and a leg? That's a great question. 

Here is what we did today: 

200 vertical feet on the treadmill, 20 burpees with a step up onto a bench, 20 dumbbell goblet squats, 20 one arm overhead press with each arm. ~ 3 rounds. 

Now we hit the beach and relax GUILT FREE because we placed value on our bodies above all and guess what? I FEEL AWESOME.

Hope you got some value out of today's post from South Carolina. Tomorrow we do our big long hairy drive to northern Vermont to visit our dear friend Christy.
